8 – 1988 – Queen recorded ‘Dog With A Bone’ for a fan club convention.

9 – 1985 – Freddy Mercury’s ‘I Was Born To Love You’, from his first solo album, was released in the U.K.

10 – 1982 – Queen played the second show of the 30-date Hot Space European tour, at the Ice Stadium, Stockholm, Sweden.

11 – 1976 – Queen played the first show of an 8-date tour of Australia, at the Entertainments Centre, Perth.

12 – 1974 – Queen flew to the U.S.A. to start their 19-date Queen II Tour, supporting Mott The Hoople. 

13 – 2009 – BBC Radio 2 announced that ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was the second most played song in public places in the last 75 years.

14 – 1988 – Freddie Mercury performed at a benefit show in aid of the Terrence Higgins Trust at the Dominion Theatre, London.
