March 2018 – Ed Sheeran Special

Dear Teacher,

Ed Sheeran is the biggest selling artist of recent years and this month we publish two worksheets from his last album, and (appropriately for St. Patrick’s Day), a Speak Up video of an Irish version of Thinking Out Loud – 2018 is Bliain na Gaeilge (The Year of the Irish Language).

March’s New Downloadable Worksheets

Galway Girl – Ed Sheeran
This is the closing song and dance of this year’s Roadshow and was released on St. Patrick’s Day of 2017. This worksheet, by regular contributor Mena Bianco, looks at the Past Simple using a crossword.

Perfect – Ed Sheeran

Published on the site just in time for St. Valentine’s Day, this is Ed Sheeran’s attempt to write the best love song of his career. The worksheet, submitted by Laura Casolaro, looks at pronunciation and also features activities based on the Beyoncé and Andrea Bocelli versions.

– Over 325 Downloadable worksheets now online – including a selection of Irish songs for St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th March, as well as a worksheet for Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud.

Most of the worksheets have been written by your colleagues – perhaps you have prepared one and want to share it?
