David Copley is an American bluesman whose vocals were recorded to replace those of Sean Penn in his latest film This Must Be The Place. You can watch an interview (and download written transcript) with him by following the link on the homepage of www.tuneintoenglish.com. The first addition to the Downloadable Worksheets page of the site is David singing Every Single Moment Of My Life Is A Weary Wait – this worksheet focuses on adjectives.
This month sees the 20th anniversary of the death of Freddie Mercury, on the 24th – the worksheet for Queen’s Somebody To Love, submitted by Mike Kearns in Barcelona, focuses on indefinite pronouns.
This is International Anti-Bullying Month. Thalita Rezende, from Minas Gerais, Brazil has prepared a worksheet with a questionnaire designed to promote discussion on the subject, based on Jeremy by Pearl Jam.

The Tune Into English Roadshow is now almost fully booked until Christmas, and is taking bookings for 2012 – thank you to all of those who have already booked; I look forward to meeting you and your students. You can watch a video compilation of last year’s show on the website, and the Tune facebook page features a large selection of videos and photographs from over five years of the Roadshow.
There have been a number of features added to the website – the External Links page on the Our Theory menu is a database of over 70 articles on teaching through songs. The Students’ Area also has some exciting new additions – our favourite is the Literal Videos page on the Explanations menu.
You can sing along with the UK Top 10 Charts on the Speak Up site – updated weekly; there is a link on the Tune Home page. The Karaoke page of Tune Into English now features over 7,600 songs.
This month the Brazilian edition of Speak Up publishes The Song, an explanation of the song Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes. You can see this, and others, on the Speak Up page of the Tune site.
Also, Fodor’s publish the 6th edition of the guide The Amalfi Coast, Capri & Naples, on which I collaborated. Full details are here – you can also see Tune mentioned in the UK’s Sunday Times!
